Blue squared

Hi lovelies,

Happy Monday!  Did you have a good weekend?   I realised at some point during the weekend that tomorrow is July.  Really?  Gosh it’s a little crazy.  Anyway, you are here to see nails so let me show you nails.

These were done a lost in the middle of the night and I really wanted something quick.  After many failed attempts at something different this is what I ended up with.

I started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen – Pacific blue on all my nails.  Pacific blue has been in the spotlight recently and I am sure you can see why.  It is really gorgeous.  Once that was completely dry I stamped on my ring finger using Color Club – Harp on it and BM 320.  In the light I was in I wasn’t sure how much Harp on it was actually going to show so I decided to add some black stamping with it.  I stamped on my pinky, middle and index using Essence stampy polish in black and BM410.  I carried through with Harp on it on my thumb.

The next day I noticed that Harp on it showed up pretty decently.  I could’ve easily carried on with it.  You can even pick up some of the holo in my photos taken in the lightbox.  With the current set up I don’t get much holo in there.  I am in the process of trying to change that though.  So hold thumbs 😉

What do you think?  Do you also love Pacific blue?  I am actually quite fond of the black stamping too.  I didn’t think I would love that pattern as much as I do.  Isn’t that a funny thing about stamping.  Sometimes looking at the plates lets you completely underestimate the pattern.
