Hi lovelies,
It’s finally Wednesday. Downhill from the weekend from here right? I have been having the most ridiculous technical problems and it is slowly driving me insane. So late, but better than never.
You can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015. I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉 Here are the prompts for this year.
I was most nervous about the rainbow prompt purely because of the number of colours involved. Last year I had all these lofty ideas but trying to incorporate so many colours made it harder. Granted the longer my nails are the more space I have with colours and I am lucky that this year my nails are much longer than last year. So let me show you what I did.
I started with a base of one coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left that to dry. I then did a water marble using: China Glaze – Violet-vibes, China Glaze – DJ blue my mind, China Glaze – Treble maker, China Glaze – Daisy know my name?, China Glaze – Home sweet house music and China Glaze – Red-y to rave – In that order. Yup the China Glaze electric nights collection sure came in handy 😉 Once I marbled and that was dry I I stamped using BM620 and MoYou stamping polish in white. I then filled in the ’empty’ space with Sinful Colors – Snow me white to create the same effect I did here. On my index though, I reversed it and filled in the hearts. I don’t think the stamping really did much for this and it might’ve been better to leave it as is but it’s done now. Anyway, topcoated and done!

What do you think? I was really so proud of this marble. I had an idea in mind of how I wanted it to look and this is as close as dammit. The colours also worked so well.
Thanks for reading,
Juanita
You should have taken a pic before the stamping too. Would have been nice to see the marble by itself.

This is so very pretty! I personally think the stamping makes the whole look 🙂
