NAILLINKUP: Valentines day

Hi lovelies,

Gosh has it been a week.  I realise it is only Wednesday but it feels like I should be starting weekend by now 😛

I haven’t really planned any Valentine nail art so was relying on NAILLinkup to provide all the necessary prompt I needed for this.  Luckily, it didn’t disappoint.  So here is my valentine nail art this prompt.

I started with 2 coats of Color Club – All over pink on all my nails.  I started by adding Nubar – Silver glitter to my pinky.  I thought I would just do a light glitter covering over the pink but I just couldn’t stop so kept going till it was almost opaque glitter.  On my ring finger I stamped using Pueen43 and MoYou stamping polish in black. On my middle and index I used tape to tape off half of each nail and then used Wow #193 to make them half black.  I then left that to dry completely.  Once that was dry I used the Because I Shop straight liners vinyls over the black polish and then filled in the gaps with Nubar – Silver glitter.  Making sure to remove the vinyls immediately after applying the polish.  I then topcoated everything and that was that.

Can I just take a minute to talk about these vinyls.  They are AH-mazing. I can not cut straight if my life depended on it and I am always looking for tape that is wider than striping tape but narrower than normal tape. Except I can never cut tape straight enough to make it work.  These vinyls are perfection!  They are the perfect size and width!  Love love love them!

Color Club – All over pink

Of course my camera still hates pink but this is is a beautiful darker but still brightish pink.  It is quite red toned.  This is 2 easy coats with no topcoat.  Formula was great, opacity was great.  I am considering putting this on my toes as the weather starts getting cooler.  It isn’t a bright summer / neon pink but still great all year round.
