How has your week been treating you? I am so bummed. I have a cold and I feel miserable. Of course Muddy Princess is next weekend so I need to get better asap! I hope your week has been much better.
When I showed off Pure Ice – Hit the floor in some nail art I was asked how it compares to Ruby pumps. So I thought this was a great time to do a comparison. You might be as surprised as I was. Let me show you
Surprised? Honestly, in my opinion these two are dupes. These are both 2 coats with topcoat. Both applied like a dream and have a great formula. I think they have the same opacity. After having this combo on my nails for a few hours I had even forgotten which is which. Of course you still need both in your collection because backup 😉 but they are 99% the same.
What do you think? Do you have either of these? Do you have a preference? Can you tell which is which? If you have other polishes you would like to see compared just shout. I am more than happy to whip up some comparison posts.

Pure Ice isn’t available over here but I own Ruby Pumps so I’m good 😉
That is the best description of them ever!! I can’t even tell you how long I had to wait and hunt and lust after Ruby Pumps. When I finally got it I like a kid on Christmas morning. It is still one of my most precious polishes. I am just glad that I now have a dupe to use first 😛
We didn’t have Pure Ice here either and then all of a sudden they were in the ‘cheap polish’ bins at the drugstore for a steal. I didn’t ask any questions and just grabbed as many as I could. 😛 I did get a few in my Big Box of Awesome from US so it was such a treat.
