Golden knots nail art

Hey guys,

This week has just flown by.  It has been a really busy one but not a bad one.  Thank goodness for weekends though right?  Do you have any fun plans?

This look is really just a combination of a bunch of gorgeous things that happen to be on my desk at the same time.  I scrolled past the Wet n Wild stand and this beautiful polish basically jumped into my hand.  Then I got a beautiful surprise from Because I shop with some new vinyls.  While these two items were lying on my desk an idea started brewing.  Let me show you what I did.

I started with 2 coats of Wet n wild – Burgundy frost on all my nails and topcoated.  Once it was completely dry I started to play with the vinyls.  I used the Twisty Turvy vinyls and started with the biggest one on my middle nails and the smallest one on my ring finger.  I then added Zoya – Godiva and removed the vinyls immediately after.  I didn’t topcoat again to keep the texture so that was that.

I really am obsessed with these vinyls.  I love that it comes in 3 sizes.  I wanted to use the two different sizes to see how it compared.  I am always worried that I don’t get enough of the image on my nails but these vinyls are perfect.  Even the biggest one fits perfectly yet gives a different look than the smallest one.  It reminds me of those beautiful Irish and Celtic knots and would’ve been perfect for my Merida nails too.  Can we take a moment to talk about this polish too?  It’s just gorgeous.  Let me show you a swatch,

Wet n Wild – Burgundy frost

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  This is a beautiful dark red shimmery polish with a gorgeous formula.  This is almost a one coater and is a dream to work with.  I absolutely love this!
