Happy birthday Juanita!

It’s time to celebrate a birthday again!

Today we get to celebrate Juanita’s birthday! Of course, the girls got together and decided on a ‘theme’ or guideline. We knew that green would HAVE to be the colour we chose and finally decided on adding water side decals to the guidelines. I immediately knew what polish I wanted to use so let me show you what I did,

I started with2 coats of Nubar – Greener on my pinky and 2 coats of Dollish Polish – You’re a mean one Mr Grinch, on the rest of my nails. Once it was dry I stamped random white squares using Lina – Feeling shapely 09 and Mundo de Unas – White. I then chose my water decals of little black flowers. I applied these to overlap the little white squares (Thanks Joyce!) I topcoated and that was that!

I did not have a great time with the decals. I just could not get them to not melt or move once I topcoated. I tried a few different options but this ended up being the best I could do. Luckily it seemed to only affect the thinner stem parts so the main flower was still ok. I knew I wanted to use this polish because I know Juanita really likes it (and she may or may not have one on the way to her).
