Life is busy

Wow, life is so busy lately.

I can’t even name what exactly it is that I have been busy with.  I’ve been trying to get the house in order.  Being able to do things exactly the way we want to is fabulous and I am thoroughly enjoying it.  Although it is taking a while to do the final touches but I will get there eventually.  We’ve been able to redecorate every room and I do love how it looks now. We also got a few new pieces of furniture and suddenly we feel so very grown up.  We have a real grown up bedroom with real grownup lamps and everything.  I guess it’s not like we didn’t before but we sure do feel very grownup now. 😉

I have a deadline for an assignment coming up that I am feeling very nervous about.  I am not sure why as I have been working on it slowly but surely.  Maybe it is because I can’t submit this one online and actually have to send in a workbook.  Yes, I think that might be it. At least I hope so.

This last weekend Willie spoilt me with a very very early birthday present from him and his parents.  I am such a spoilt girl.  I am thrilled beyond words.  I am baking a HUGE batch of cupcakes and muffins for a friends sons first birthday and I am actually quite excited about it.  Only to use my pressie of course 😉

Hubby got a new car.  It was a sudden decision as buying another car wasn’t really on the cards but it was a necessity after the Ranger had some serious issues.  He ended up being able to choose a car that he really liked and managed to get one too. It really is a gorgeous car and I soooo happy that he got a car he really loves as well.  Just another thing that makes us feel all grown up.

Generally, I am a very lucky girl.  I am happy.  Really happy.  Of course there is some stuff to complain about or be sad about but I try not to dwell on those for too long.

Still big on my mind almost daily is the thought of a baby.  The desire is always there but I am hopeful and we have a plan and I know it is coming.  Soon I hope.  It really is my biggest dream.  I am holding on to hope.  We are really so lucky to also have K2* in our lives.  We get to spend some time with her every so often and she really is amazing.  She has taught us so much and we have so much fun with her. She is the smartest, cutest little girl and hearing her giggles in our house is lovely.  She fills a hole, she fills our hearts, she fills our house.  We are really lucky to get to spend the time with her that we do.  Huge big thank you to her mommy(@MamaZombieZA) and daddy(@Jinx_dj) for letting us share some of her life.  It’s a gift!!
