Remember in this post I mentioned our ‘backyard’ is this private reserve, forest, hilly thing. Well not OUR back yard exactly but it’s right next to us. I finally got around to taking some photo’s.
You can clearly see where our fence is and then the whole back and side of our yard joins this foresty thing. Clearly they are not doing much to maintain it and it is really starting to look like a jungle. I don’t even want to know what is crawling around in that long grass. The birds are exquisite though and it is kinda amazing to have all this nature around. We really only have neighbours on the one side and even those are not close to the house. The other side neighbours are on the other side of the stream and some bush and the front is the road. Pretty peaceful and private.
Isn’t it pretty? I love it!! yeah more bugs and stuff but totally worth it. Unless there is heavy rain and some flooding of course….bleh.
