I am feel absolutely miserable again. I am so annoyed that barely a week after finishing our meds both my husband and I are sick again. Urgh! So please excuse me for not having too much to say today. I am hoping to do a lot of nothing and hopefully get new meds soon too.
I wasn’t nuts about the final look because it totally looked much better in my head than it did on my nails but I do kinda like the idea. Also, I am committed to sharing everything I try unless it is a complete and utter flop. This wasn’t so I am sharing it 😀
I started off with a purple ombre using a makeup sponge. I like showing the colours I used on their own as well sooooo….the colours I used were:
Essence – Hello Marshmallow
I’ve spoken about this beauty before. It’s one of their newer shades and is a gorgeous lilac creme. I love this colour. It does have super subtle shimmer that is mostly visible in the bottle. This is two coats with no topcoat.
Essence – Oh My Glitter!
This is a gorgeous polish. A beautiful purple packed with micro glitter and a subtle pinkish shimmer. This is also two coats with no topcoat.
Essence – Break Through
This is a deeper darker purple polish that is extremely hard to capture perfectly on camera. This is pretty close though. This is a perfect two coats with no top coat.
So I used these three shades to create an ombre. Once that was done and dried I used my Essence stamping plate to stamp the tiger print in white using the Essence Stampy Polish. I then topcoated it using Essence Quick Dry topcoat.
I messed up a bit with the stamping and some lines look a bit smudged. If you don’t look too closely and maybe squint a little bit then you can hardly tell 😉
After looking a this for a little while I thought that a matte version might actually look nicer. So I added the Essence – Soft Touch topcoat.
I then realised that on the photos you can’t really see much of a difference. In real life though I quite liked it. It’s not perfect but it is definitely eye catching. I also really like the combination of the purples.
Oh my, Isn’t this a very Essence post 😉 What do you think? Hopefully I will be feeling tons better soon and I will then chat more. Hope you are all well and keeping the germs at bay.
Thanks for reading

I absolutely LOVE this! I think it looks awesome! I didn’t notice anything with the stamping at all (and I can usually see if/when you mess up). I think this is great and not just cos it’s purple!

This is a super essence-y post! And super purple! I think these look awesome! I like the several purples together, the stamping on top looks good (I can’t see any mistakes on my phone- small pictures and all :)) and I actually really love it matte. It looks all frosty (not like frost polish but liked cold frosty glass) and it just looks cool!

Hah! Yes, super purple. So strange for me but I also kinda liked it. Keep reading on your phone then, it seems the smaller images are super forgiving! 😉
