Can you believe it is the last day of the year? It’s exciting and scary at the same time. I hope you have all had a wonderful festive season and that you will have a safe and fun New Years as well. I have been so wrapped up in my holiday that I didn’t even realise yesterday was Monday.
My husband and I have been big fans of the latest season of X Factor US and just after we watched the finale, I saw Demi Lovato (one of the judges) had tweeted a photo of her nails. I quite liked it and knew I wanted to recreate it, with maybe a change of colours. This was her tweet,
I decided to use blue and black to recreate this fun look (which incidentally, I think is great for new year)
This is how I did it:
- I started off with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black on my pinky, ring and thumbs and 2 coats of Tip Top – Astronaut on my middle and index fingers.
- Once that was completely dry I used my chevron tip guides / tape on my index and middle fingers and then went over it with Sinful Colors – Black on black. Pulling the tape off immediately after painting.
- I then top coated it and waited for everything to be completely dry.
- I then took small, light blue rhinestones and normal topcoat to stick them in the right positions.
- I then top coated everything again and ready to go.
