Candy Crush nails

Hi lovelies,

Wednesday already.  Are you having a good week.  I am, even though it’s been a pretty emotional one.

A few days ago acidicice asked me to do candy crush nails.  I have to say that until this point I have never played – or even seen – anything about candy crush.  Acidicice sent me some screenshots of her game and mentioned that she HAD to see the chocolate ball with sprinkles.  I would like to disclose right now that I failed hugely. I spent 2 days on this and tried everything a few times before giving up and moving on.  So I am not even joking when I say I failed.   Avert your eyes, look away, save yourself!

I used a whole bunch of colours and changed them up often.  Some of my issues were that I didn’t the colours worked.  So for the first time ever I won’t be listing all the polishes I used but if you want to know about a specific colour please let me know.  I’ll be happy to share.

 

I warned you 😉  I tried to freehand some of the different types of candy including the chocolate ball with sprinkles.  I still suck at freehanding. I tried this about 3 times and this was honestly the best version.

I also thought about just doing the tips and I didn’t mind it as much until I had to add the white lines.  It was also here that I realised I was probably using the wrong purple and should’ve used the purple I used in the first picture all along.  Of course, chocolate ball and sprinkles is still there.

I actually preferred this one but wasn’t sure if it was obviously candy crush.  And if I had used the right purple.  I used striping tape to make the lines and it is much more in my comfort zone.

What do you think?  Fail or epic fail?  Do you play candy crush?  I had no intention to ever want to play but I downloaded it while I did these and I can’t stop.  Not only can I not stop, it is annoying.  Stupid game 😛
