Blue skittlette

Hi lovelies,

Did you have a good weekend?  I really enjoy weekends where we don’t have plans and I can just relax and go with the flow.  Although I do end up doing so much trying to catch up on everything.  Luckily I love it and not having any pressure to stick to schedule like the week makes it kinda relaxing anyway.  You’re not here to hear about m schedule though so onto the nails 😉

I actually wore this quite some time ago when I went out for a night.  I unfortunately ruined them on my home so never got around to taking photos or wearing for very long.  I redid them the other day to make sure I could wear them a bit more.

I started off with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Sugar rush on my ring, middle and index and 2 coats of China Glaze – Adore on my pinky and thumb.  Once that was completely dry I stamped my middle and index using China Glaze 0 Adore and BM322. On my ring finger I added one easy coat of Essence – Bella.  Bella is from the Twins reloaded range.  It is one of my favourite glitters because it is full of holo sparkle.  It’s so pretty.

If you read this post where I stamped with China Glaze – Adore you might recall I mentioned that it appears more green than blue.  This is why I said it.  I thought at first that it might be just because it is on top of another shade of blue but even on it’s own it leans more green.  Is it just me?  Either way, I still think it looks nice. It stamps like a champ though and that is always a win for me.  I especially like how it looks over the soft pastel blue.

I also realised when doing this that I am using a lot of blue lately.  What is up with that?  I suspect it might be because I have a nice range of blues in my collection but then I am sure I can say the same of the other colours.  I must do something about that 😛
