Hi lovelies,
It’s time for another throwback even if they are cringe worthy.
If you missed the first one you can have a look here and don’t forget to check our MamaZombie Mumbles to see what she is recreating today as well. Today I am recreating the hot pink safari I did ages ago. It wasn’t my first choice but I have been itching for pink and leopard print so I knew I had to do this. 2 birds 1 stone right? Let me show you what I did all those months ago. (No judgies)
The best right? Let me show you how I recreated it…
I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze – You drive me coconuts on all my nails and left that to dry completely. Once it was dry I used an Essence stamping plate and Essence stampy polish in black to stamp my thumb, index and part of my middle nail. I did my middle nail by taping off a section, stamping and removing the tape. When the stamping was dry I taped over the stamped piece and did leopard print on the rest of the nail. I did leopard on part of the middle nail, ring and pinky using China Glaze – Something sweet for the lighter pink. I then used Sinful Colors – Black on black for the black outlines.
I am not sure if I really improved on the original – except for the stripes of course – but I love the pink and the prints. I wish the stamping was more opaque and solid but I think it’s just the plate. It is also the only one I have that print. What do you think? I am so in love with the pink everywhere.
Thanks for reading,

The old was very kak. I like both but the recreation is obviously more spruced up and I like the wood effect (if it’s tiger oh well sorry lol)

I laughed at “The best, right?” 😉
I do think you improved upon it with the new interpretation! It definitely looks cleaner/spruced up.
