Hi lovelies,
It’s double post day so my Tuesday stamping post will be up a little bit later.
Starting this challenge I was most concerned about the first 10 prompts. The colours. It’s easy to choose a beautiful polish for each prompt but what you do with it is what is fun. Well let me tell you, for today, I made a big mess.
I did my first proper splatter and with a ton of guidance (Thanks Megan) and a few tries I think I got it right. You might’ve spotted the mess I made on Instagram. I had polish on my whole hand, my desk, my palm and even some on my face. I am fairly certain I will not be trying this again soon 😛
Let me show you.
I started off with 2 coats of Essence – Dare it nude on all my nails. When that was dry I went NUTS with a straw and Sinful Colors – Big daddy and China Glaze – Flip flop fantasy. I huffed and I puffed until I got a decent amount of coverage. Topcoated and done. What a mess but the result is exactly what I was going for.
I wish the neon popped as much on the photo’s as it did in reality. What do you think? Does it work? Easing into this challenge has helped but I hope to come up with some great creations as it goes on.
