You can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015. I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉 Here are the prompts for this year.
It’s no secret that I love gradients. If I could do them every day I would. I love combining colours and I love the effect of a gradient. I absolutely adore the reciprocal gradient and for this prompt last year I did one. I knew I wanted to do one again this year because it is just pure gradient on gradient with a bit of tape. So let me show you.
I started with a horizontal gradient using OPI – Taupe-less beach and China Glaze – For Audrey. One that was dry I added a few lines of striping tape horizontally and then did the same colours but in opposite order to create the reciprocal gradient. I did each nail individually and removed the tape immediately after. Topcoated and done. It really is such an easy look to do and I love it. Gradient on gradient. What can be better than that right? I also really love how these colours look together (Thanks Jamcj) so huge win.
