NAILLINKUP: Wrap all the presents

Hi lovelies,

Are you having a good week so far.  Mine has been busy but a good busy.  Before I show you my NAILLINKUP nail art for today I just wanted to give you a little update on the blog.  I have decided to take a little holiday over the holiday season.  I will still have the NAILLINKUP posts for the rest of the month and I might pop in with a post here and there but for the most part this will be my last full week of posting.  Next week I will be posting up till the 16th and then I will be back on the 4th of Jan with my regular schedule.  As I said, there will still be at least one post a week.  

Right, NAILLINKUP time.  This weeks prompt was chosen by V from For the Love of Nail Art.  You can check out all the prompts on the poster below.  Remember, the dates are just a guideline.  You can also find more info about NAILLINKUP and every months prompts here.

So the prompt is “Wrap all the presents”.  I loved the prompt and I had a few ideas.  But it turns out I really don’t like what I did.  I’ve also just been so busy that I didn’t even have time to try something else so I am sorry but you are stuck with my fail :/

I started with 3 coats of Essie – Steel-ing the scene and then added 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Holiday rebel.  Still the most perfect Christmas glitter ever.  I left that to dry completely.  I then used the little bow vinyls from the Because I Shop Christmas set  and added a coat of China Glaze – Just be-claws.  Making sure to do one nail at a time and removing the vinyl immediately after.  Topcoated and done.  I had hoped the bows would be a little more obvious and the glitter would add a great pop but I am just not feeling it.
