NAILLINKUP: Growth

Hi lovelies,

Gosh this week is flying by.  How has your week been?  Mine is busy busy busy.  I am always busy actually and I like it.  Adding the shop however has made me quite a bit busier.  So fun!  It doesn’t mean that I am too busy for a smidge of nail art (yet) and that is exactly what I am showing you today.

This weeks prompt was chosen by Coco and once again, I went in a completely different direction.  I know what Coco had in mind with the prompt but I had no idea how to translate that growth to my nails.  So I went literal.  Let me show you what I did.

I started with 2 coats of Essence – Turn the lights on!.  I am not sure why I didn’t swatch this one for you today but let me tell you it exceeded my expectations.  Beautiful formula and opacity.  Once that was completely dry I stamped using W218 and Mundo de Unas – Lilac, Barbie and Lime.  I used Lilac and Barbie for the flowers and Lime for the stems.  As you can see I messed up a bit here and there but I do like how it all came out.  I stamped the image lower on my index finger and moving it a bit higher on each nail till it is all the way to the top on my pinky – ‘growing’ on my nails.  I topcoated and that was that for growth.
