Hi lovelies,
Goodness, It’s been a busy week but as usual, it’s downhill to the weekend now. I think I need a weekend of sleeping in and doing nothing. I somehow don’t think it will be happening soon so I will just keep dreaming 😉
It’s NAILLinkup time for a new month and new prompts! . You can check out all the prompts on the poster below. Remember, the dates are just a guideline. You can also find more info about NAILLINKUP and the February prompts here.
This weeks prompt was chosen by me. My intention with the prompt was all about contrasts / opposites. You know, dark – light. Black – white. Love – hate. Sooooo let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of OPI – Lincoln park after dark on my pinky and ring finger. On my index and middle I started with 3 coats of Jessica Jean -Strawberry frosting. I left those to dry completely. I then stamped the same image on all my nails. On my pinky and ring finger I stamped with BM317 and Mundo de Unas – Reddish. On my middle and index I stamped using BM317 and MoYou stamping polish in black. I then topcoated and called it a day.
I really love the white base and red and black glitter of Strawberry Frosting contrasting with the vampy oxblood of Lincoln park after dark. I also really like the red stamping on the dark. What do you think? Don’t forget to check out the InLinkz thingum below for other “Love / Hate” nail art.
Thanks for reading,
Leanne
