Hi lovelies,
This week has gone by in a bit of a blur. I have done absolutely nothing because I am still struggling with my ears. It is the worst and most uncomfortable feeling ever and I am slowly losing my mind. How has your week been so far?
It’s NAILLinkup time and it’s the last one for the month of love! . You can check out all the prompts on the poster below. Remember, the dates are just a guideline. You can also find more info about NAILLINKUP and the February prompts here.
The prompt this week is Red & white. Even though it is still the month of love I did not want to get to lovey with this one. Instead I decided to use just red & white in different ways. Let me show you what I did.
On my pinky and ring finger I did a jelly sandwich. I layered Tip Top – Cream puff and Sinful Colors – Decadent and topcoated. This white jelly and red glitter sandwich was so much yummier than I expected. On my middle and index I did a sponged gradient using Sinful Colors – Snow me white and Essence – Styled for the red carpet. I really liked the effect of the ‘matte latex’ finish of the red so I decided to use my satin matte topcoat on the gradient. Once the gradient and the jelly sandwich was completely dry I stamped the same image on all my nails. On the jelly sandwich I stamped using Pueen73 and Mundo de Unas – Reddish. On the gradient I stamped using Pueen73 and MoYou stamping polish in white. I didn’t topcoat any of the stamping. I wanted the white stamping to stay matte like the gradient and then I liked the contrast of matte and shiny with the red stamping.
What do you think? Is it too much or does it work? Don’t forget to check out the other participants using the InLinkz thingum below
