NAILLinkup: Coffee

Hi lovelies,

Having a good week so far?  Let me tell you, this winter has not been kind to me. I haven’t been this cold in ages and being sick is the pits.  I know it’s colder in other places but for here it’s been pretty cold.  Luckily the days are nice for a good few hours.

This week the prompt is coffee.  I know it was chosen because I was struggling to get the day started and it was in front of me.  Boy do I wish I had chosen something else.  I did NOT like this prompt at all.  Nothing I wanted to do came out the way I wanted it to and even what I settled on is meh at best.  I ended up knowing I wanted a gradient with a ‘latte’ look but boy did I struggle with everything else.  In the end, I left it at a latte gradient and called it quits.  I only have so much patience after all 😛 Let me show you

I started off with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left that to dry completely.  I then did a sponged gradient using Sinful Colors – Snow me white, Sinful Colors – Beige of honour and Sinful Colors – Nirvana.  I wanted the colours to create a bit of a latte before it’s stirred look. I topcoated and called it a day. I didn’t love it but it’s here.  That’s what counts right? 😉
