31DC2016 Day 13: Animal print

Hello lovelies,

Happy Tuesday.  Hope you’re having a fabulous start to the week.

Just another reminder of the prompts still ahead.

Today is animal print.  My original idea was to search for some amazingly coloured animal and use that for inspiration.  Then I realised that I have not done leopard print for this prompt at all.  Hopefully we all know how I feel about leopard print right? *points to photo in sidebar*….so leopard print it is!! Let me show you

I started with 1 coat of Essence – Wild white ways and left to dry completely. I then did a sponged gradient using Essence – Wild white ways and Essence – Back to black.  I then started the leopard print with Morgan Taylor – La dolce vita on the white and moved to China Glaze – I’ll pink to that on the dark.  I had hoped the different pinks would be another almost gradient.  In real life it worked.  On the photo’s the light pink is barely visible.  I then used Wow #393 and a toothpick to do the black of the leopard print. I topcoated and that was that.  Even though I love the leopard print I don’t know if this is grandiose enough.  Know what I mean?  Anyway, it is leopard print and there’s a hint of pink.  I am ok with that.  Although the longer I look at it the less it looks like leopard print :/
