Hello lovelies,
I hope you had a fabulous weekend and you’re ready for the week ahead. I had a pretty good weekend. I didn’t get much done but i did have fun at the KZn Blogger Meet and being out and about. I might be a little tired and ready for another weekend today but let’s get this week started anyway!
I have another stamping plate collection to show you. I feel like there are new stamping plates every time I look online. Bundle Monster never disappoints and when I saw the Hangloose collection I just had to have it. I was very drawn to it and kept getting fun ideas of what to do with them. So, now I can show them to you too.
The set of ten plates come in a little pouch as always
And each plate comes with the protective blue film that has to be removed before use.
I really like the shapes all the waves make, especially with the other images thrown in. This plate is so versatile because you can isolate different parts or use a section to create different patterns.
I love the lines of different shapes. My mind is racing with ideas.
This is another plate that has so much going on. Parts that make beautiful shapes or individual images. The bubbles on the side is a favourite as well as the seaweed. All the different shells are really cute too.
I really like plates with words. I especially like the roundness of this one. Again, many ideas and my biggest one here I will show you soon. I also like that the words can also be isolated.
Come on, how cool is this? Words, cute images, what a win! The hand top right and the person walking with the surfboard are probably my favorites.
I really like the full nail images on this plate too. That middle flower image though!
Fabulous shapes and patterns happening here. I can see some colorful tribal nails or even lead lighting happening here.
Easily my favourite plate! I can even decide what I like most. The flamingos, the pineapples, the ice creams, the watermelons. I love it all!!
I love the different palm trees options here. We all know I am not good with freehand so palm trees is a big win for me.
The flowers top left is a favourite but I do like them all here too!
So of course, I had to do some nail art. I don’t think I have ever done nautical nails before so I grabbed this opportunity to do them. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely. Starting with my index and pinky, I stamped near the tips using BM-S402 in Mundo de Unas – Reddish and Blue. I then stamped the anchors from BM-S410 using the same colours but alternating. On my middle and ring fingers I used two pieces of striping tape near the tips and then added Sinful Colors – Endless blue and Sinful Colors – Ruby ruby, making sure to remove the tape immediately. I left that to dry completely before stamping the anchors from BM-S404 using Mundo de Unas – White. I topcoated everything and that was that. I must say the anchors on my middle and ring finger didn’t stamp as crisp as the other actors but I only really noticed after taking the photos.
What do you think? My first proper nautical nails, do I cut it? I really like how it came out but I might’ve changed a few things. I really like the images I used, especially the ones from BM-S402. Those lines of images are perfection. What do you think of the stamping plates? Which one is your favourite? I can’t wait to use these plate more for all the ideas I have.

Abby
