Hello lovelies,
How did we get to middle of the week already? It feels like it was just weekend. I suppose that is what holiday mode does to you 😛
Yesterday I showed you how these Christmas polishes stamped and today I decided to use the same ones for some stamped snowflake sandwich nail art. Let me show you
I started with 1 coat of OPI – Funny bunny on all my nails and left that to dry. I then started stamping the snowflake images on BM-H01 (big snowflake) and W222 (small snowflakes) using Essence – Meet me under the mistletoe, Essence – I still believe in santa claus and Essence – Santa baby. I alternated the colour and sizes of the snowflake per nail. Then I added one coat of OPI – Funny bunny again. When that was dry I stamped the snowflakes again but using a different colour than the first layer. I then added another coat of OPI – Funny bunny and did another layer of stamping. I did one final coat of OPI – Funny bunny and then topcoated.
I wish the gold showed up a bit better in the layers but otherwise I really like the layers of snowflakes. Of course, the polishes stamped beautifully and I wanted to make a bit of a subtle but different christmassy look. What do you think? Does it work? Is it Christmassy? I weirdly really really liked it and I know I would’ve loved it more if the gold showed up better in the sandwich.
Thanks for reading,
Kathleen
I think I pin every one of your manis. Love
