Hello lovelies,
It’s finally Friday. This week has been great but the heat is killing me slowly. Please send help. Bucket loads of ice I can lie in will be great. I know I am a whiny baby but I really don’t like the hot, sticky, sweaty, humid heat. Going to gym in this heat just feels wrong. In other news. My beautiful cousin and her family might be growing by 1 today. She is in hospital as we speak and hopefully the little princess will be with us soon. Squeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
I have another Born Pretty Store stamping plate to show you today. The variety of nail art goodies available at Born Pretty Store just keeps getting better and the stamping plates keep getting better too. My collection is growing beautiful. Today I am showing you BP L050 and you can find it here (or click on the image).
I am in love with this plate. I couldn’t decide what do first and I ended up doing a lot of different things. This plate really has ENDLESS possibilities. Before I show you what I did let’s take a moment to talk about the plate. If you’ve got any of the Born Pretty Store rectangular stamping plates then you know what to expect. The plate has a white plastic backing that is slightly larger than the plate. The size of the plate is more or less 12cm x 6cm. The plate is etched beautifully and I have not had any problems picking up images using multiple stampers and polishes. The plate comes with a blue protective film that needs to be removed before use. Ok, now let me show you what I did.
I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and let that dry completely. While that was drying I got to work making decals on my mat. I stamped using Mundo de Unas – Black and the image on the top row, second from right. I then used a small nail art brush to colour in the waves. I used L.A Girl – Purple effect, L.A Girl – Brilliant blue and L.A Girl – Sparkle ruby. Once the decals were dry I applied them using topcoat. I topcoated again and that was that. But wait, I have more
I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black. Once that was completely dry I stamped using the image top right. I used a gradient of Mundo de Unas – Yellow, Mundo de Unas – Sunflower and Mundo de Unas – Reddish. I also tried to carry the gradient across from my index to my pinky. I topcoated and that was that. I couldn’t decide on the base and after talking to a few friends, neon green was another option for the base. So guess what.
I redid the same thing but with a different base colour. Here I used 2 coats of China Glaze – I’m with the lifeguard as a base and stamped using the same image and same stamping. I topcoated and that was that. One last one? Here we go
I want to do something kaleidoscope -esque with bright colours using the image on the bottom, second from right. Here’s what I did. On my index I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – DJ blue my mind and stamped with Mundo de Unas – Barbie. On my middle finger I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – I’m with the lifeguard and stamped using Mundo de Unas – Blue. On my ring finger I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Giver’s theme and stamped with Mundo de Unas – Avocado. On my pinky I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Bottoms up and stamped using Mundo de Unas – Purple. I topcoated and enjoyed my trippy neon nails.
What do you think? This is such a fun plate and I have so many ideas. What do you think of the nail art? Which one is your favourite? If you want to grab this plate for yourself don’t forget to use my discount code below to get 10% off.

Dohhh… I think I’ve typed my reply at least three times already but apparently my phone ate all of them 🙁
Anyway, this time I’m using my computer to tell you I LOVE this plate and it just happened to fall into my basket when I was visiting BP Store recently… coincidence, eh? 😉
Oh, and my favorite manicure is the black-brown-yellow one.

You seriously make me laugh like a nutter. Don’t you just love these products that make their way into our carts like they know just what we need? The best 😛
Thank you Joyce xx
