Happy Monday! The weather has finally cooled down. As if that wasn’t enough to rejoice over, my cousin had her little baby on Friday. She is beyond beautiful and I am already so in love with the little beauty. I will definitely show you more about her as soon as her parents have had a chance to share her photos.
Some time ago I showed you Color Club – Wicker park and mentioned that it reminded me a bit of Essence – Purple sugar. It has the same “is it pink or is it purple?’ quality as purple sugar. So of course, I had to do a comparison. I was surprised by the results. Let’s take a look
On my pinky and index I have 2 coats of Color Club – Wicker park and on my middle and ring fingers I have 2 coats of Essence – Purple sugar. In my mind, when I used Wicker park, it was a very similar to Purple sugar. It’s pretty obvious now that they are not nearly close to the same. Purple sugar does look a bit darker next to the bright Wicker park. They are both beautiful and formula wise they are both great. Purple sugar is a little more opaque than Wicker park but both are perfect in 2 coats.
Do you have either of them? I can highly recommend both. I think Wicker Park is so stunning being a bit brighter and I have used Purple sugar quite a few times. They are definitely not similar so both deserve a spot in your collection.
