Happy Monday! The renovations are still going on here at home. They worked the whole weekend. It’s great for the timeline but doesn’t help much with the relaxing. Right now the timeline is more important though so yay for that! So far I am loving the results. How was your weekend? Tell me you did something fun and exciting!
It’s time for the next prompt in the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.
The prompt this week was holographic and initially I thought this would be an easy prompt. Funny thing, I battled my backside off to think of something. I am not sure if it is because I have too many holo’s or if I am just way too indecisive. Let me show you what I ended up with
I started with 2 coats of ILNP – Mega on all my nails. This is such a stunning silver holo. I wish I had taken some sun photos (but that time that’s so precious made me not even think of it) to really show off how beautiful this holo is. The bottle give you a good indication. Once the polish was dry I stamped using BP-L054 and Mundo de Unas – Black. Once that was done I topcoated and that was that.
I really wish I had made sure to get a better shot of ILNP – Mega. I must say, when I ordered, I wasn’t sure which Mega to buy. There are quite a few variants of it but I had no way of knowing which one was the best option. I am definitely not disappointed in this one but I would love to see them all compared. Anyway, this is a super holo silver as you can tell by the bottle in the photos. I really liked the contrast of the black and silver and the holo was really blinding. What do you think? I couldn’t think of a fun way to interpret this prompt. What would you have done?
