It’s FRIDAY!! Firstly, happy June! Then, the renovations are pretty much done! There are just a few small things left to do but not nearly as disruptive. I am a very happy puppy. It’s also been beautiful weather here the last few days so it’s been good. I am so glad it is Friday though. I need some nothing to fill my time. Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
This is the nail art that happens when I just start playing with whatever is on my desk at the time. I am sure it happens to everyone all the time and sometimes these are some of my favourite nail art. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of ILNP – Paper route on all my nails. This is a beautiful light grey (almost white) holo. While that was drying I made the decals using BM-S311 and Mundo de Unas black and then filling in the flowers randomly with ILNP – Bikini bottoms and ILNP – Walking home. I then applied the decals to my middle and ring finger, topcoated everything and that was that.
Of course, all these polishes are holo but with no sun and my lightbox not being much help you can’t really see it. I didn’t include any swatches of these polishes because I will definitely be making sure you can see the holo when I do. Any suggestions for lights that will do the holo justice in my lightbox? It’s really hard for me to be able to take photos in the sun but at this rate I am not even going to use holo polishes anymore.
What do you think? I am quite a sucker for flower images like this so I am always turning to them. I think this image will get a lot of use. These polishes though, are amazing! Here is a sneak peek I posted of this on Instagram and it showed off a bit of the holo.

For some reason I’ve always shied away from using a holo background with holo stamps or decals. Seeing your absolutely gorgeous creation I’ve decided I have to remedy that omission asap 😉
