Hello lovelies
Another productive and busy weekend done and dusted. How was your weekend? The weather has been lovely and it’s really made spending time outside so fun. Of course, it’s time for another full week with some fun nails!
Now that the prompts are on the downward slide to 52 I can’t believe how quickly it has gone. It is week 27 of the #52weeknailchallenge from Polish Portfolio. This challenge is similar to the 31 Day challenge except this is one prompt for every week of the year. You can share yours on any day of the week as long as it falls within the week. Here is the list of prompts and you can use #52weeknailchallenge to keep track of any posts. I hope you’ll join in.
Week 27 calls for gold and it had me fumbling for a bit. I don’t mind gold but for some reason I was a bit stumped. Then the ideas came in one by one. So I decided to use a few of them in one. Let me show you what I did.
On my pinky, middle and index I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black. On my ring finger I started with 2 coats of Butter London – West end wonderland. I left everything to dry completely. On my ring finger I used Essence – New York city call and Sinful Colors – Black on black to do the tiny leopard print. On my pinky and index I used 1 coat of Essence – I love my golden pumps over the black. On my middle finger I used the satin matte topcoat and while it was still drying I used gold spike studs from Born Pretty Store. I topcoated the rest of my nails and that was that.
What do you think? I’m sure I nailed the ‘gold’ component. I am just not sure if it all works together. I like it enough but I’d love to hear what you think. Also, let me know if you’re taking part in this challenge. I would love to see what everyone gets up to for these prompts.
Thanks for reading.

That looks nice! The only thing that doesn’t really work for me (but you know me… boring, old fashioned, stuff like that) are the studs. I think I would have left them off and let the leopard print be the star of the manicure… I think…

Hahahaha I don’t think you’re boring at all!!!! I think you might be right but I kinda used the studs here because I am not sure if I would use them in anything else. So it seemed like a good place to use them. I do think it would be a lot more wearable without the studs.
