Happy Monday! Did you have a good one? I feel like mine was super lazy and relaxing but I actually got a lot done. Not parkrun though.
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt today is Vinyls. Obviously I reached for my box of Because I Shop vinyls and then I had to choose one. This was the hard part. Or at least it was until I saw the Heartfull vinyls and I use knew I had to use them. They might actually be my favourite ones. I just wish my nails were longer so that I could get more hearts on my nails. Let me show you what I did
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Fresh prince-ss on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then used the heartfull vinyls on all my nails and sponged a gradient using China Glaze – Bottoms up and China Glaze – Bite me. I made sure to remove the vinyls as soon as I could before the polish dried. I then did a black border around the edges using a thin nail art brush and Sinful Colors – Black on black and then finished off with a matte topcoat.
Please tell me how I can take better photos of the neon polishes? This was admittedly super bright and nearly blinded me, not to mention my camera. I guess the pink on pink on pink didn’t help the situation. I really wish this could’ve come across better on the photos but it was bright and gorgeous. More than the photos look. These vinyls are amazing though. I wish I knew why I didn’t use them as often. I already have a million others ideas for them. What do you think? How do you feel about vinyls? Do you have to have all the things or do you try and steer clear of vinyls? Let me know which are your favourites
