Hey hey!
It’s Wednesday already! It feels like this week is just getting started and here we are on the downhill to weekend already. No complaints from this side! How has your week been so far? It has been deliciously cold and rainy and I am loving it. Winter (or autumn more specifically) is finally here it seems. I wonder how long it will be before I complain about the cold 😛
I realised a few days ago that I have a HUGE stack of vinyls and I am definitely not using them often enough. Then the fabulous B from Because I Shop gave me some sketchy heart vinyls and I just knew I had to use them sooner rather than later. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 1 coat of China Glaze – Belle of a baller on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then did a sponged vertical gradient using China Glaze – Belle of a baller and China Glaze – She’s a mane-iac. While that was drying I used the Sketchy heart vinyls on my mani mat and first did a coat of Nubar – Noir and then did 2 coats of Catrice – Down the milky way glitter. I removed the vinyl immediately while the polish was still wet. I then left them to dry completely as well. Once they were dry I applied them to my middle and ring fingers. I topcoated everything and voila!
I also have a swatch for your of
China Glaze – Belle of a baller
This is 2 coats without topcoat. This is from the Pastels collection. This pink has a really nice formula and applies well. It’s a little sheer and patchy in the first coat but evens out really well on the second. It also builds in colour after the first coat. I really like this shade of pink too so this is a nice favourite.
I like vinyls so much. They are really so versatile and you can do a million different things. I would not hate having these in a smaller size as well as this size. I am also guessing that the gradient isn’t as visible and many probably only see it because I mention it. It was really visible to me, particularly in real life and I do love this glittery polish I used on the hearts. Of course the holo doesn’t show off as much in my photos but trust me, its gorgeous! What do you think? What are some of your favourite vinyls? You can count on a few more vinyls ideas popping up soon!
Thanks for reading,

Vinyls… yuck… the bane of my existence!

Thank you so much! I actually really like vinyls and I am often surprised when a vinyl project just goes south.
