Hey guys,
How has your week been so far? I can’t really tell if my week has been really busy and scattered or pretty decent and slow. I guess that means it was just ok. Which is never a bad thing. It’s also coming towards the end of May which means we are almost half way through the year. How does that even happen? I regret ever wishing away a day, a week, a month because it seems to just be flying by now.
I am busy working on a DIY project of sorts that involves going back to some previous 31 day challenge sessions and while doing this post from #31DC2015 I knew I had to get out the supplies. I just loved the gradient so much and I really wanted to do it again and I also knew I wanted to play with vinyls. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 1 coat of Sinful Colors – Snow me white and left that to dry completely. I then did a sponged gradient using China Glaze – Home sweet house music, China Glaze – Glow with the flow and China Glaze – PLUR-ple. I topcoated the gradient to make sure it was completely dry all the way through. I then used the Greek vinyls from Because I Shop and put them horizontally on all my nails. I tried to put them at different ‘heights’ so the pattern moved to different positions on my nails. I then used Sinful Colors – Black on black and removed the vinyls immediately to ensure clean lines. I topcoated again and ta-daaaah!
I really like the bright neon gradient and I am sure some will say this is for summer. I think you can neons any time you want and this gradient is perfect! I am also obsessed with these vinyls! How gorgeous are they? I love that you can use the whole ‘design’ but also align it in such a way that you can get many different variations. I just love it. What do you think?
Thanks for reading,

There she goes again with the vinyls… I’m getting serious vinyl-envy over here!!
Your nails look gorgeous though and those colors are indeed perfect 🙂
