Happy fake Monday! It’s a public holiday here today so most people are enjoying the day off. It has also just clicked into summer overnight so I am melting in this heat. Thank goodness for swimming pools and aircons! Did you have a good weekend?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is Silver + Blue. Isn’t that a fun combination? I think silver and blue is such a versatile combo. Considering this is so close to Christmas I really considered doing Christmas nail art for this prompt but in the end I decided not to. Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of Rimmel – Shooting star on my ring finger and 2 coats of Dollish Polish – It’s bigger on the inside on the rest of my nails. Once that was completely dry I stamped on my index and middle finger using Lina – Totally negative 02 and Mundo de Unas – Silver. I topcoated everything except the texture on my ring finger.
I really really like how this turned out. The blue is just stupid gorgeous and that negative space image works so beautifully. What do you think? Does it work?
