Tip Top ‘Oxidized’ collection

Are you having a good week?  Mine seems to be flying by.

Since Tip Top gave the little teaser on their Facebook page about this collection I have been lusting so hard.  I have been checking all the Tip Top stands closest to me for the longest time.   I started seeing a few of them pop up and I knew I had to intensify my search.  Well, I got them!  Yay!  I can also say it was worth every second hunting them down.  I am bursting to show you but first a few points.  These are all metallicy shimmery polishes.  They are all very opaque.  They could be one coaters but I always wear 2 two coats.  I don’t feel like I need to tell you much about the colours because you can see those.  I will briefly touch on this when discussing each one.  Let’s go.

Tip Top – 18 carat bling fling

First of all, how cute is that name?  It just kinda rolls off the tongue doesn’t it.  This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  Could’ve been one because it is so opaque.  Great formula and I had no brush strokes at all.  I really love this burnt gold kind of colour.  So gorgeous.  I love it.

Tip Top – B’dazzled blue

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  Could’ve been one because it is so opaque.  Applies like a dream.  My only criticism is that this looks much more green than blue.  I suspect because it is a teal / turquoise kind of blue so it leans more green in certain light (even though it was more green in every light I was in) but the base is a little navy as well.  So the name is a little confusing for me but it is simply gorgeous regardless.  So so pretty.

Tip Top – Grecian Urn

Isn’t this gorgeous?  Goodness me.  This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  Could’ve been one because it is so opaque. Great application.  If you look at the bottle here you can see a very slight duochrome shift.  It is very slight but the colour is very rose gold / pink / goldy.  Absolutely stunning.

Tip Top – Liquid Envy

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  This was also the least opaque of all of them even though it was still quite opaque.  I think the name on this one is also really cute.  This is such a gorgeous green and I am so happy to have it.  It’s the perfect green that has been missing from my collection.  Also, can you see my hair reflection in the bottle here?  It’s the strangest thing, now all I see when I look at the photo is the flash of pink in the bottle :/  Sorry about that.

Tip Top – Quirky quicksilver

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  Could’ve been one because it is so opaque.  I was initially confused by the name, quicksilver makes me think it should be silver.  And some people do think so.  I did see some car colours called quicksilver and this is almost spot on with that.  Either way, I LOVE it.  For me, it’s a darker, more blackened, more grey / charcoal version of 18 carat bling fling.  Definitely a favourite.

Tip Top – Volcanic eruption

Such a beauty!  This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  Could’ve been one because it is so opaque.  I actually expected this one to be blood red but it is more pink / fuchsia toned red.  This one might just be my very very favourite.  I don’t even think a photo does this justice.  So so gorgeous.

What do you think?  I know that it was worth every second of waiting for these.  I love them all but my favourite favourite 3 are:  18 carat bling fling, Grecian Urn and Volcanic eruption.  But the others are just just a hair behind.  Which are your favourites?  Again, all of them had great application, great opacity and great colour.
