Hi lovelies,,
It’s the weekend! I can almost hear a collective cheer and sigh of relief from everyone who has had a rough week. Mine wasn’t rough but weekends are so great, who wouldn’t want weekend all the time. 🙂
I popped into Clicks the other day and I saw the display for the Mod in Bloom collection but the display didn’t have the right polishes in it. That’s a little annoying. Then I popped into a different clicks and voila! I didn’t get all of them but I have 4 to show you today. I am hunting for the rest and if I do find them I will do a part 2 post.
Also, it feels like not too long ago that I showed a collection from Sinful Colors full of pastels (Candy coated). If you want me to compare any of these with those just shout and I can combine it all into one post for you. In case you are worried that these might be similar to something from that collection. Ok, let’s get to the polishes 🙂
Sinful Colors – Baby blues
Yes, I am also a little confused by the name but hey. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. Formula is lovely and this applied beautifully. I love this lilac creme. Of course it will be perfect for spring but who can resist this shade all year round? This is definitely one of my favourites out of the 4 I do have. It’s not the most original shade and I suspect if anyone will be asking for a comparison this one will be requested. Great opacity as well.
Sinful Colors – Daisy daze
Such a cute name! This is 3 coats with no topcoat. I love this super soft creamy yellow. Formula was ok. It was quite streaky on the first coat and not quite opaque on the second but by the third coat it was smooth and beautiful. I really like this colour, it’s soft and subtle and makes me think of picnics in the garden. I can see this as base for tons of art work in spring.
Sinful Colors – Nice stems
Oh goodness, how gorgeous is this? This is 2 coats with no topcoat and I might just be in love. This is definitely my favourite of the 4 I have. Great formula, great opacity. This is all kinds of buttery goodness. I really love this blue greenish shade. Again, possibly not the most unique shade but it is so pretty.
Sinful Colors – Violets are blue
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. A periwinkle blue packed with silvery shimmer. This was my least favourite of the 4 I have. I love the colour but the formula was a bit meh. I struggled with the first coat and managed to get it semi smoothed out for the second. It didn’t occur to me till later that I should’ve added a 3rd coat. It’s fairly opaque but it doesn’t apply as well as I would like. I might just be spoilt by all the really good formulas I have been using lately. It definitely pays off in the end so if you also love the colour grab it while you can. Like I said, the formula isn’t buttery but it comes together. Truth be told, I might’ve preferred this shade in a creme but for those that love shimmer, you will love this!
What do you think? Which one is your favourite? There are still 4 more shades in this collection and I am trying to get my hands on them asap. Let me know which ones you like and if you want me to do any comparisons. Have a lovely weekend!
Thanks for reading,
heidi

I actually didn’t even think of the two together. Nice eye. I suspect cha cha cha is a smidge bluer but might be wrong. Would you like a comparison?
