Pink and gold glitter gradient

Hi lovelies,

I am baaaaack!  I am so sorry for disappearing off the face of the earth.  Close to the end of the challenge my cousin and her gorgeous little boy (Wian, our godson) came to visit.  I got completely engrossed in spending time with them and after the craziness that was #31DC2014 I definitely needed the break.  I will do a roundup post soon and I will back date it.  Tuesday Stamping will be back next week.  For now, I am just easing back into it and I have made the decision to have a lot more fun with it.  

I love gradients but I am not sure if I have ever been able to nail a glitter gradient.  So I am combining a normal gradient with a glitter gradient and sharing my attempt with you.

I started with a pink gradient using Sinful Colors – Forget now and Sinful Colors – Truth or dare.  Once that was dry I added H&M – Stay golden.  I started the glitter at my tips except for my ring finger where I started at the cuticle.  Topcoated and done.  What do you think?

Sinful Colors – Forget now

This is 3 coats with no topcoat.  It is a pink jelly packed with magenta / blue and some silver shimmer.  This is just solo beautiful.  Mine is a little on the thick side but it is one of the bottles I bought and only realised afterwards that it had obviously been used and not closed properly in store.  It’s still totally fine to use though and I didn’t have any problems with application.

Sinful Colors – Truth or dare

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  This is a beautiful berry shade with a great formula and is beautifully opaque.  It is almost a one coater.  I love this shade!

I’d love to hear what you think and also if you have any tips for nailing a glitter gradient.
