Hi lovelies,
Woohoo! It’s downhill to the (long) weekend! I am having a bit of a rough week but the thought of the weekend approaching helps. How has your week been?
Another beautiful Hean polish you say? Why yes, yes indeed. There are SO many beautiful Hean’s to choose from too. Today I am showing you #639 from the Wedding Garden collection. Also sent to me but the amazing Glamore Cosmetics.
This is 3 coats with no topcoat. I was a little concerned about this colour at first but I actually really loved it. It is really sheer and is a peachy nude colour. It is so close to natural nail colour that on the first coat I couldn’t even see anything. Even at three coats, even though I can tell I have polish on, it is a very ‘natural’ colour. Once I took the photo’s I noticed that it does bring out the peachy colour. This is also a jelly which makes it super shiny and……sandwichable (yes, totally a word). The formula on this one was also gorgeous. Even though it was sheer it wasn’t streaky or patchy at all. Soo pretty. I really wanted to do something bridal because this polish screams for it but as I mentioned before, acidicice did a whole bridal series with these polishes and I am not sure I could do anything as subtle and gorgeous and bridal. You can check out her swatch of #639 here and then have a look at her bridal series too. So let me show you what I did instead.
I started with 2 coats of Hean #639 on all my nails and left that to dry completely. Once it was dry I stamped using BM618 and China Glaze – Highlight of my summer. I then added another coat of Hean #639 to make a stamp sandwich. Once that was dry I topcoated and while the topcoat was still tacky I added a small round pastel green stud from Born Pretty Store. Even though making a stamp sandwich dulls the green of Highlight of my summer I think the stud does bring some of that green out again. I won’t lie, I am a little nervous about this. I am not sure if anyone will like it 😉
This gorgeous polish and ALL the others I have shown you – plus many more – is available from Glamore Cosmetics. You can find them here:
Let me know what you think? Does this work?
Thanks for reading,

My week has been… busy!! I’ve just started a new job and I haven’t even had the chance to do my nails or anything. It’s just been work, travel home, eat, sleep, get up, breakfast, go to work, repeat! But it’s a fun job so I’ll figure out a schedule once I get used to it a bit more 🙂
Your manicure looks really nice. I wonder what that polish looks like when it’s part of a sandwich with a glitter like OPI Pirouette My Whistle or something similar.
