Hi lovelies,
As I am sure you can tell these posts might be a monthly thing now 😉
After really enjoying the previous twinsie post with Juanita we decided to do it again…and again….and again 😀 The theme for today was waterfall using pink and green. That’s it. No other specs at all. So much room for interpretation and I love it. Well, until I actually have to do it that is. I struggled to decided which pinks and greens to use and in what combination. As usual.
So let me show you what I can up with and then you have to check out Juanita as well.
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Something sweet. Once that was dry I went to work on the waterfall. The colours I used were: Dark green: Nubar – greener, light green: China Glaze – Re-fresh mint, darker pink: Essence – Ultimate pink and silver glitter: Nubar – Silver glitter. I then topcoated everything and that was that.
The good news is I loved it while it was on my nails, the bad news is I don’t love it so much in the photos. Probably because you can see ALL my flaws and terrible freehand brush skills 😛
What do you think? Do you think the colours work together? I was very unsure at first but I liked it in the end. I wish my waterfall looks as good as the pro’s make it look. I have a switch for you as well.
China Glaze – Something sweet
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a very light pastel pink creme. The formula is lovely and surprisingly, the opacity is fantastic too. I really love this one which isn’t surprising considering how often I use it 😉
Don’t forget to check out Juanita’s post and see how she nails this!
Thanks for reading,
Juanita
So subtle… Not in your face like mine! Love it.

Maybe if you weren’t so spoiled for choice, you wouldn’t have a hard time picking colours 😛 This is gorgeous!
