Hi lovelies,
Happy Monday! Did you have a good weekend? We had such beautiful weather here and it was great to relax at home a bit. With beautiful polish of course 😉
Today I have a beautiful and interesting Hean polish I have to show you from the City Fashion collection. This was also sent to me by the fabulous Gael from Glamore Cosmetics. Don’t forget these are now available in the store. Let me show you #61.
This is 3 coat with no topcoat. This is such an interesting polish. It’s a silver polish but with an almost frosty finish which makes it look chrome like. It’s quite sheer on the first coat but builds up beautifully. It is also a little brush strokey at first but as it dries it gets much better. If you look at my index you will see almost no brush strokes. It’s only at certain angles that it is visible without topcoat. Keep in mind this photo is taken very close up and when you look at it on your hand you don’t even see them. The formula on this one is gorgeous too. Even though it is sheer at first it is not streaky, patchy or uneven. The fact that it is sheer made me think that this would be a perfect polish to layer with. So of course, I did some art.
On my index, middle and ring I started with 3 coats of Hean City Fashion #61 and stamped using BM324 and Hean #805. The image is a french tip image and I just stamped it a bit more sideways across the tip. On my pinky I have 2 coats of Hean #805. When that was dry I wanted to layer the Heach City Fashion #61 over it. I did one coat over it and didn’t think it was enough so I added another coat. I think 1 would’ve perfect actually, in hindsight, but I really love how gorgeous it made the purple with the silver layered over it. It almost gave it a du0chrome look. As you can see, the angle of my photo the tip is more purple than the base but at another angle that changes. I am actually quite obsessed with this polish and the versatility of it. I am not usually a layering fan but this has completely changed the game for me 😛
What do you think? I LOVE this one. It’s not just a plain silver but it totally can be if you want. I love it layered over the beautiful purple as well. I’d love to hear what you think as well.
You really should run over to Glamore Cosmetics to grab this and all your favourite ones from the City Fashion collection. You can find them here,
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
That silver/chrome isn’t really me but that stamping is gorgeous!
I have a couple of plates with french tip images and I never use them… I think I have to dust them off pretty soon 🙂
