Hean nail polish #857 – I love Hean Sugar collection

Today is double post day of course.  I don’t have much to say unfortunately so I am just going to jump straight to the beautiful polish.

Today I have something really gorgeous.  This was also sent to me by Gael from Glamore Cosmetics.  This is one of the NEW I love Hean Sugar collection.  Now, brace yourself, this one really made me gasp.  Let me show you #857

This is 3 coats with no topcoat. When I first saw these polishes I assumed they would be textured (think pixiedust) and when I got to hold the bottle in my hands I was sure it would be.  It really looks like liquid sugar in the bottle and of course that would be textured right?  Wrong! Even though this looks textured, it dries smooth.  It does dry with a bit of a satin matte type finish but it is packed with shimmer.  There is a chance that this one is an exception to the rule so I will confirm as soon as I swatch the next one but I am pretty sure it’s spot on.  As gorgeous as this looks as is, it is when you add topcoat that this liquid sugary goodness really shines.  The formula on this one is also really good.  Great even coverage.  I used 3 coats but you might find 2 coats more than enough.  The coral colour is also really pretty and unique.

Let me show you this with some nail art

I thought this coral polish would look great with black so I stamped a geometric pattern using BM604 and Born Pretty Store stamping polish in black.  On my ring finger I started with 2 coats Nubar – Noir and once it was dry I stamped using the same image but the other way around.  I stamped with OPI – Live.Love.Carnaval.  I topcoated everything and that was that.  Well, not really.  Once the Hean #857 was topcoated the ‘sugar’ really got all shimmery and in your face.  NO photo can really do this one justice. You will just have to take my word for it.  I did manage to get a photo on my phone at just the right angle, super close up of the shimmer showing off.  I will post it on IG so if you want to have another look at it, go have a look see.

I can’t wait to swatch a few more from this collection.  It’s stunning!  Same gorgeous Hean formula as well.  What do you think of it?
