Hi lovelies,
Double post day! There aren’t many of these left I promise. By next week I should be mostly back to my old schedule 🙂
I have another stamping plate review from Born Pretty Store. My wishlist just keeps getting longer and longer as they keep having more amazing nail art supplies. Their stamping plates also just keep getting better and better with gorgeous designs. This plate is BP-48 and you can find it here (or click on the image)
These plates also come with a blue protective film that needs to be removed before use.
My favourite thing about the ‘new’ Born Pretty Store stamping plates is that they do now come with a protective paper backing. This is awesome!
This plate is ridiculously gorgeous! It can be used in so many ways and obviously, I had to make decals of it first 🙂 Let me show you.
I started with 2 coats of OPI – DS Reserve on my ring and middle fingers. On my pinky and index I started with 2 coats of Essence – Free hugs. Once everything was done I went to work making decals. I stamped the images using Born Pretty Store stamping polish in black and then I filled in the petals of the flowers and with Essence – Free hugs. I used these on my middle and ring fingers. On my index I did the reverse. I stamped the image in black and then filled in some of the petals using OPI – DS Reserve. I am not sure which one I like best but I think I prefer the Index combination. On my pinky I stamped the image just in black for a bit of contrast.
I do also have a second design I did using this plate but I will show you that next week. It’s a pretty one 😀
What do you think of the plate? Do you think it works with the pinks? I’d love to hear what you would do with this pretty plate. I am bursting with ideas!

I have a swatch for you.
OPI – DS Reserve
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. We all no my camera has this stupid “I hate pink” thing going but this isn’t too far off. It is a dusty pink scattered holo with a gorgeous formula and opacity. This is almost a one coater. I love it!
Thanks for reading,

Love this design, the color combination and your stamping. Also, I LOVE your hair in your profile pic. I want pink hair so badly but can’t have it because of my job.

Oh gosh, thank you so much Helen! hehehe I love my hair too 😛 It’s so much fun and I think it is terribly sad that our jobs limit us. I hope that you get to enjoy pink hair soon though, even if just for a little while 😀
