Hi lovelies,
Just like that it is Wednesday already. And July! We are now officially in the second half of the year. Time is flying and yet we still wish it away at times. Time to stop and enjoy every single day before it is gone! Woah how deep is that? 😉
I have another Hean polish to show you from the City Fashion collection. It’s been a while since I have had the pleasure of playing with some of these beautiful Hean polishes. This is also a two – for – one post because I am also showing you a glitter from the Stardust Collection. Both of these are available from Glamore Cosmetics. Let me show you #197 and #265.
Hean City Fashion – #197
This is 2 beautiful coats with no topcoat. This is a minty blue with a subtle hint of shimmer. Absolutely gorgeous! I dare say one of my favourites. Formula is amazing and as I have come to expect, no streakiness or patches.
Hean Stardust – #265
Swatched here over Hean #197. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is small black glitter, medium black and turquoise blue glitter and a few larger blue hexes in a clear base. Application was a breeze and I didn’t really need to bob or spread much. I just moved a few pieces around when too much ended up in one spot (Mainly the bigger glitter). I can’t even tell you how much I love this glitter. It’s beautiful!! Here is a closer look
I know I have shown you MANY gorgeous Hean polishes but I know these 2 are going to be firm favourites. This glitter alone is a must have! Pop over to Glamore right now! You can find them here,
As usual, some nail art using both of these.
I knew with this gorgeous glitter I wanted to use it as a topper AND in a sandwich. So a skittle was definitely necessary. Let’s start with my pinky. I started with 2 coats of Hean #174 and then added 2 coats of Hean #265 glitter. On my ring finger I started with 2 coats of Tip Top – Cream puff and then added just one coat of Hean #265. I waited a minute or two and then added one more coat of Tip Top – Cream puff and then one more coat of Hean #265. I added one last coat of Tip Top – Cream up and fell in love. On my middle finger I started with 2 coats of Tip Top – Cream puff and left it to dry. I then made polka dots using Hean #810. I thought the blue of #810 matched the blue in the glitter quite well. I then made polka dots over those using Hean #174 and did them slightly off centre of the previous polka dots to create a shadow effect. On my index finger I did the same thing using different colours. I started with 2 coats of Hean #174 and when it was dry I made polka dots using #Hean 810. I then did polka dots again using Hean #174. I really liked that the similar colour polka dots actually made the ‘shadow’ look a little more 3D ish. I then topcoated everything and stared for a few hours.
What do you think? Do you think the colours all work together? Don’t you just love that glitter? I am obsessed! Paired with this minty blue polish I am in love!
