Hi lovelies,
It’s finally weekend! Even though the week has been good and semi productive I am looking forward to the weekend too. Do you have any plans?
I am so looking forward to doing the PnP Womens walk tomorrow to support breast cancer. I know breast cancer awareness month is October but we all know that it is not a disease that only affects people during that month. So I will be doing something breast cancer related on my nails for the walk. I will definitely show you next week. In the mean time, let me show you this stamping plate from Born Pretty Store.
Born Pretty Store seems to up their game every time I visit their store and their nail art goodies just continue to impress me. My wishlist keeps getting longer If you like lace stamping images then this plate is definitely a must for you. I don’t know if I can ever have enough lace patterns and this plate doesn’t disappoint at all. Their stamping plates also just keep getting better and better with gorgeous designs. This plate is BP-L 020 and you can find it here (or click on the image)
These plates also come with a blue protective film that needs to be removed before use.
I really love the backing of this plate and these images are also such a nice big size that it doesn’t matter how big or long your nails are, they are more than likely to fit. Let me show what I did.
On my ring finger I started with 2 coats of Essence – Little lila town. On the rest of my nails I used 2 coats of OPI – DS Extravagance. Once they were all dry I went to work with stamping. On OPI – DS Extravagance I stamped using the top left image and Mundo de Unas – Lilac. On Essence – Little lila town I stamped using the same image and OPI – DS Extravagance. I topcoated everything and that was that. I love the purples together and this lace pattern is absolutely stunning!
What do you think? Do you like the combination? These images stamped so well and the images transferred well and clear as well. What do you think of the plate and the images?
I tried my hand at something else using this plate as well.
I started off with 2 coats of OPI – Where did Suzi’s Man-go? on all my nails. I then did a sponged gradient on my ring and middle fingers using OPI – Where did Suzi’s man-go? and Sinful Colors – Snow me white. Once that was all completely dry I stamped using the bottom row middle image and MoYou stamping polish in black. I topcoated and that was that. Pretty easy and simple but I really liked the stamping over the gradient.
What do you think? Which one do you prefer? And which image is your favourite from this plate? It’s too hard for me to choose because I really love them all. I will just have to use this plate over and over to get to use all the images.

Of course, I have some swatches for you
OPI – Where did Suzi’s man-go?
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a really pretty peachy orange creme with a nice formula and opacity. This reminds me of China Glaze – Peachy keen but I haven’t done a comparison to see how they compare. I really wanted this when it just came out and I am really glad I have it. It’s so pretty.
OPI – DS Extravangance
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s absolutely obsessed with this grape purple beauty with scattered holo. I am really in love with these DS polishes. The formula and opacity are amazing! It’s a pity I didn’t capture the full holo goodness. But trust me, this is a proper beauty!
What do you think of these polishes? Let me know if you want to see any comparisons with these.
