Hi lovelies,
Two posts in one day? Yup, this week might be full of them 😉
It’s twinsie nail art time and this time I teamed up with Briget from Because I can. She gave me a whole list of prompts to choose from and in the end my cousin Jamcj made the choice for us while I was driving to the airport. I definitely love what was chosen but when it came to actually doing it I was nervous as heck. The guidelines were: Aztec, green and gold. There was an image we used as inspiration but I have somehow misplaced it. Maybe B will have the image in her post 😉
Alrighty, let me show you what I came up with.
On my pinky and indeed I started with 2 coats of Essence – We rock the green. On my ring and middle I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Passion. Once that was completely dry I went to work. On my pinky I stamped using China Glaze – Passion and BM405. On my index I stamped using BM410 and China Glaze – Passion. On my middle nail I stamped using BM605 and Essence – The green and the grunge. On my ring finger I made a decal for the tip using China Glaze – Passion to stamp the pattern and then covered it in Essence – We rock the green. Once it was dry I cut it into a strip and applied it to the tip of my nail. I then stamped the ‘eye’ using BM405 and Essence – The green and the grunge. I then topcoated everything and that was that.
I am sure Briget is going to blow our minds so pop over to her post to see what she did.
I also have a swatch for you
Essence – We rock the green
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a green packed with shimmer. It’s not my favourite shade of green but it certainly is a gorgeous polish. Good formula and opacity too. I really should use this more often.
So, what do you think? Did I meet the requirements? Think I nailed it? Let me know what you think and don’t forget to check out B’s egyptian aztec nails too.
Thanks for reading,
Briget
