Hi lovelies,
Double post day! Apologies for all the posts being so late. I had some technical issues so it’s delayed everything by a few hours. Hopefully it’s all back up and running for now.
Today’s prompt for #31DC2015 shouldn’t have been very difficult at all. I have many many greens. Turns out, I can mess up anything. But anyway, you can follow everyone taking part by using the #31DC2015. I am going to be keeping my posts short and sweet throughout the challenge so that it means more time to get cracking with the prompts 😉 Here are the prompts for this year.
Like I said, green should’ve been easy. I have tons of greens and most of them are really beautiful and quite unique too. I managed to really do something meh. Unfortunately I am running quite behind so I had no time to redo. I guess I could’ve but I was just not feeling green anymore. Let me show you.
I started with 2 coats of Revlon – Checkmate on my middle and ring and 2 coats of Color Club – Twiggie on my pinky and index. Once that was completely dry I went to work with the striping tape. I wanted to make a certain pattern on my index and ring. I managed to get it right on my ring finger but messed it up a bit on my middle finger. I then added a coat of Color Club – Twiggie and removed the tape immediately afterwards. On my index and pinky I just put two lines of tape and then added one coat of Revlon – Checkmate, removing the tape immediately after doing each nail. I then topcoated, swore a little and called it a day.
You can see my 31DC2014 version of Day 4 here
I have a swatch for you…
Color Club – Twiggie
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a gorgeous green creme with a great formula and opacity. I’ve been so excited to use this one and it didn’t disappoint at all.
What do you think? I know it’s very meh but at least its green right? Have a super weekend and I will see you here tomorrow!
Thanks for reading,
