Hean City Fashion #162 and #199 with nail art

Hi lovelies,

It’s finally Wednesday which means it is downhill to the weekend right? I know it’s smack bam in the middle of #31DC2015 but that doesn’t mean I don’t have other gorgeous things to show you.

I got another amazing delivery from Gael and Emma from Glamore Cosmetics and today I am showing you 2 from the City Fashion collection. Let me show you

Hean City Fashion #162

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. A beautiful plum, berry creme with a stunning formula and beautifully shiny finish. The opacity on this one was also fabulous and I had great coverage in just one coat. This is such a beautiful wintery shade but if paired with a lighter colour it is a great summery shade too. LOVE it!

Hean City Fashion #199

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a minty blue with a gold shimmer in it that is so absolutely gorgeous that you won’t stop staring. It’s subtle but caught in the right light, it’s breathtaking. The formula on this one was as gorgeous as I have come to expect from Hean polishes.

Like I said, when I saw these two standing next to each other I just knew I had to use them together. Let me show you what I did (thanks to Thea my bok)

On my pinky I started with 2 coats of Hean City Fashion #162 and on all my other nails I started with 2 coats of Hean City Fashion #199 and left them all to dry completely. I then placed striping tape on my middle and ring fingers and then added Hean City Fashion #162 one nail at a time and removing the tape as I finished each nail. I then left the stripes to dry a little bit again. I then used China Glaze – Passion and added a gold splatter to all my nails. The subtle gold shimmer in Hean #199 would hopefully go well with the gold splatter. I then topcoated everything and that was that.

I really loved how these polishes look together. What do you think? I don’t know why but this keeps reminding me of Madame Zingara. Colour me crazy. I really really liked it though.
