Hi lovelies,
Yay for Fridays! Everyone must be excited about the weekend right? I hope the weather stays nice too.
This is the second year I am taking part in NailCandi’s Pink October manicure challenge. It’s something I am proud to be a part of and if you want to find out more please go check out the event page on Facebook. Let me show you what I did.
On my middle and ring fingers I started with 2 coats of Essie – Boom boom room and on my pinky and index I used 2 coats of Wow #393. Once it was all completely dry I started with the stamping. I stamped using BM321 and Mundo de Unas – Barbie. On my ring finger I applied some non fast drying topcoat and then applied the rhinestones. I used various sizes but I still wanted the pink base to show. On my middle nail I used Sinful Colors – Dream on and a thin nail art brush to draw the abstract heart. This heart was inspired by Briget’s tattoo. She knows some of the reasons but also because since I saw it, it just exudes strength and courage to me. I didn’t do it much justice with my shoddy freehand skills but it’s the idea that counts right? 😉 I then topcoated all the nails except the rhinestones and that was that. Of course, I did also do my donation.
You can donate your R20 to PinkDrive by texting ‘PINKOCTOBER” to 40158. Paint your nails pink, take a nailfie and share your nails and donation on the event page. Share with all your friends too.
I have a swatch of Essie – Boom boom room as well.
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s probably one of the nicest Essie’s I’ve used. It was opaque and a great formula. Such a beautiful pink too.
What do you think? Of course I love all the pink. Have you done any breast cancer awareness nails? I hope you have a lovely weekend and see you on the other side!
Thanks for reading,
Briget
Love.. love!!
