Hi lovelies,
Happy Wednesday! I hope you’ve had a great week so far and the downhill to the weekend is even better!
I am showing you 2 polishes from the I love Hean Sugar collection which is available from Glamore Cosmetics. If you’ve seen my other swatches from this collection you might remember that some of them were textured and some of them were not. The mystery continues today with these two. Let me start by showing you #856
Hean I love Hean sugar #856
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a beautiful barbie pink with the ‘sugar’. It is not textured and dries smooth. It does however dry to an almost satin matte finish. I actually really really love that. It really looks like there is sugar trapped inside this polish. The formula is amazing and it applies so well. It also dries pretty fast but then I have found that with all the Hean polishes so far. I did add topcoat to see how it changes the polish so let me show you that too.
As you can see it looks shinier but I think it loses a bit of the sugar effect. I definitely prefer it without topcoat but it still looks super pretty.
Hean I love Hean sugar #852
This is also 2 coats with no topcoat and as you can see this one is definitely textured. It’s a beautiful yellow gold texture. Also a great formula. I was surprised by how much I loved this one. I tend to prefer more white gold tones than yellow but this one really is so stunning. I also love texture so it’s a double win for me.
I decided to use these two together for nail art especially as the one was textured and other was not. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of Hean I love Hean sugar #856 with topcoat and left that to dry completely. I then took a small brush and Hean I love Hean sugar #852 to make the bows. I then used a black striper for the outlines. I didn’t topcoat because I wanted the bows to stay textured. I must just say, I completely underestimated how easy it would be to use a texture to ‘freehand’ some bows. I am not that great at freehand anything on the best of days. I do like how it came out though. If you can look past the obvious little bumps 😉 I also really like these two colours together. the 2 colours, the combination of normal and textured. I really like it.
What do you think? Do you think the gold and the pink works? Do the bows work? I really love the combination and you know I love a little bow. I like it.
Have you grabbed any Hean polishes? It’s so hard to choose polishes when I visit their online shop because everything is just so darn pretty. You can find them here,
Thank you Glamore Cosmetics. Mad love for you all! xx
