Tribal Allure

Happy Monday!  Did you have a good weekend?  Mine seemed busy yet it doesn’t feel like I did much.  Which basically means I procrastinated and did everything I didn’t have planned to do. 😉

I picked up a few polishes from We Heart Nail Art when they had their sale and I am actually quite excited to show you the nail art I did today.  More specifically, the polish I used.  I just have to show you

piCture pOlish – Allure

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is a purple magenta packed with scattered silver holo.  It dries matte so adding a topcoat really makes it shine.  The formula on this is fabulous. The opacity too.  This applied so well and I couldn’t stop staring at my nails.  I almost didn’t want to do any nail art.  Almost…..

I started with the 2 coats of piCture pOlish – Allure and left that to dry completely.  I then used the Aztec vinyls from We Heart Nail Art.  I alternated the black and white at the tip and cuticle using Nubar – Noir and Sinful Colors – Snow me white.  I made sure to do one nail at a time and removed the vinyls immediately after applying the polish.  Once I had done all of my nails I topcoated and that was that.

What do you think? Does it work?  Isn’t this just a beautiful polish?  I knew it was going to be stunning but I was really blown away by how gorgeous it is.  I was so torn about what colour to pair it with (a turquoise? a blue?)  but I am glad I ended up going with black and white.
