Hi lovelies,
Happy Friday! This week has just flown by and I feel like I still have about 2 days worth of stuff to do before it ends. 😉 I hope you have a fabulous weekend planned. Especially if you have been back at work this week.
In keeping with the theme this week I have another new collection to show you from Sinful Colors. This one had a few surprises for me, so let me show you.
Sinful Colors – Supernova
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a champagne metallic foil with a few darker specks. Formula is fantastic and the opacity was really great too. This one has been on my wishlist for the longest time and I am thrilled to finally have it. This reminds me a bit of China Glaze – Swing baby but I haven’t done a comparison. If you want to see them compared please let me know.
Sinful Colors – Purple heart
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a purple with some silver specks with a fantastic formula and opacity. This is a beaut and can almost be a one coater. I really love this one.
Sinful Colors – It’s a wrap
I was sure this one was going to be better used as a topper but I was surprised that it only needed 2 coats to be opaque. This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a light yellow gold with a gold shimmer. It’s an unusual one but it’s oh so pretty! Good formula and the opacity really surprised me.
Sinful Colors – Vintage
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is an olive green with gold specks. I was surprised by how much I loved this one. It really is a stunning polish with a great formula and opacity. Once again, almost a one coater. Really really pretty!
Sinful Colors – Out of this world.
This one was so sparkly and shiny it really messed with my camera and made my skin look super weird. This is 3 coats with no topcoat. I was also convinced this one would be a topper but really surprised when it wasn’t. This is a metallic white with silver shimmer and is quite different to any other polish I own. The polish is a bit thick but not impossible to work with. It just became tricky when I got to the third coat. I would suggest either going with really thin coats (if you can with the thick polish) and adding more layers or waiting a while between layers for a bit of drying. It’s really really pretty though so definitely worth it. It could also be possible that MY bottle was thicker but not all are.
This collection also had more colours. All of which I already had and have shown you in previous collections but if you haven’t scooped them up yet, here are the other polishes:
- Gogo girl – A cherry red jelly
- Sugar sugar – A beautiful red with gold and red shimmer
- Black on black – My favourite black polish to use and ever elusive here in SA.
What do you think? Do any of these colours stand out for you? Which one is your favourite? Or did you grab some of them already? Please let me know if you would like to see any comparisons with any of these.

I like all of these except maybe the olive green, although I have been surprised to love an olive green before once I had applied it. Supernova, Purple Heart and Out of this World are stunning!

I wasn’t sure about the green at first to be honest. Not only is it green but it is quite a eh shade of green. Until I applied it. I think the gold flecks in it really make it gorgeous I would definitely say give it a try. Purple heart and Supernova are definitely my favourites!
