Lollipop zigzag

I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  It’s the start of a brand new week so let’s make the most of it shall we?

I’ve had quite a bit on my plate lately. Exciting things, fun things but a lot of things.  I love it but I also realised I need to take a moment to breathe too.  So I made a schedule for myself to make sure I get everything done I need to do but also give me some time to just have a break and do a bit of nothing. I am excited to start it but I just hope I can stick to it.  Wish me luck! 😉 So, hopefully, from next week my Tuesday Stamping posts will be back and I can do better with my blog catching up.

Today, I just have some simple nail art and a swatch of a stunning polish!  Let me show you

piCture pOlish – Lollipop

This is 2 coats WITH topcoat.  It is a purple jelly packed with tons of different shades of purple glitter.  It’s slightly thicker in consistency than some of the other piCture pOlish polishes I have used but still applies really well.  The opacity is great and I only needed 2 coats.  I added topcoat because it does dry slightly textured and I felt it showed off the glitter better once it had topcoat.  I LOVE this polish.  It’s absolutely beautiful!  Let me show you what I did with it.

I did something really simple.  This polish is so stunning I didn’t really want to ‘hide’ it too much.  I started with the 2 coats of Lollipop and on my middle and ring fingers I used thin zig zag vinyls.  I added Sinful Colors – Snow me white on top and made sure to do one nail at a time and pull off the vinyl as soon as I’ve applied the polish.  I then topcoated those two nail again and that was that.

I really liked the contrast of the white on the purple.  What do you think?  Isn’t this polish just stunning?  I am sure I will be using this polish often!  Have a fabulous week!
